Principal Investigator Yuk-ming Sung, PhD

Dr Sung received his Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. in Chinese medicine training at Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine, on top of receiving BA at University of Houston and Postgraduate Diploma in Education at University of Hong Kong.


He is a leader in the field of Jin Gui Yao Lue* in the west. His translation work, Understanding of Jin Gui Yao Lue: A Practical Textbook (PMPH, Beijing, 2009) has been listed as a reference text by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, USA since 2011. He has had five publications. The contents cover dietary therapy with specific Chinese herbal formulas and qigong.

He has innovated ten OTC Chinese herbal formulas that can restore the biological functions of our major organs. By tackling the body’s metabolic disorders and boosting immunity, they help control weight sustainably, without side effects leading to a disease-free state.

He is a licensed Chinese medicine professional both in Hong Kong, China and British Columbia, Canada.

*Jin Gui Yao Lue is a core Chinese medical text written 2,000 years ago. It discusses forty-two internal diseases involved organs of stomach, lungs, liver, heart, and kidneys. Twenty plus gynecological diseases, diabetes, jaundice and mental health were also discussed in details.
